SLOW AGING

Pray tell what is slow aging?.

Is it some need in me raging?

I do need hearing aides

To hear.

I do need eyeglasses

To see.

I do need a back-bone

To stand alone.

I do need a heart that’s strong

To beat hardily and long.

I do need my joie de vivre

To be me.

These satisfied, needs are my slow aging, undenied,

And I am more than satisfied that they are satisfied.
