COME WALK WITH ME

Come walk with me as we grow old,

An intriguing time, I am told.

A sliding downward scale of pace,

A timely sojourn from the rat race.

Come walk with me as we grow old.

Still strong of mind, but not so bold.

Physically fatigued and weakened by the passage of time.

But spiritually lifted by a love as strong as yours and mine.

Let us walk as one. There is no need for us to rush or run.

For we have accomplished much and left so little undone.
