GUESS WHO

I have never found myself depressed.

I have never found myself distressed.

My spouse ensures that I am neatly dressed

And steams my clothes, until well-pressed

Good friends have often me impressed.

And, as such, I am extremely blessed.

Even so, I have a hidden penchant that I have repressed and never confessed,

A secret that over the years no one guessed, as it’s truth I’ve gently supressed.

But now, it is time for me to disclose my secret, a truth to which I do proudly attest.

Life cannot better be when living with a spouse who for 63 years is the very best.
