LIFE’S COLOURS

Colour arrives via a warm smile of the sunlight’s beams

That grin between the spectrum of life’s many extremes,

Of black and white,

Of wrong and right,

Of night and day,

Of work and play,

Of sickness and health,

Of poverty and wealth,

Of just beginning or of being done,

Of having it all or of having none,

But the rainbows of our lives have opted for neither black nor white,

Choosing to live as a mix of coloured hues dancing in the sun’s light.
