THE QUARANTINE PARTY

This is tricky and I do not want to offend,

But I am pleased to act as I’m truly excited

Having held a Quarantine party last weekend,

And for safety's sake, none of you were invited.

But, if you wanted to come

Or know what we had done,

Read what is written below

And you will definitely know.

We wore formal dress, including plastic gloves and did surgical masking.

When we danced, we were six feet apart and maintained social-distancing.

We did enjoy a classy, five course filet mignon when finally we did dine.

Guests were served in their cars while on our circular drive-through line .

No one told him that Corona was a virus and not a beer.

He spoke once again on his Washington swamp drain and then did also assert

If he and his colleagues are elected, all of Washington alligators will convert,

From denizens of the Washington swamp into scorpions of a Washington desert,.

To be led by him, a perfect leader, whose tongue is attached to a brain that is inert.
