Friendship is the mutuality of essential essence,

A balance between passion and common sense,

The focal point of reliance and of independence,

An embrace of reality and a rejection of pretense.

It is a profound relationship that usually begets

An enduring union between kindred souls,

Oft attracted together from opposite poles

By the allure of their strong personal magnets.

But take heed and know

That as things in life go,

Having a friend who brings you loads of fun

Will certainly never be as good as being one.
